myfelt felt ball rugs are made from pure New Zealand sheep's wool, considered one of the most precious of all for its durability and exceptional quality.

At the very start of the manufacturing process, the wool is combed in a workshop in Nepal. It is then washed several times and dyed under very strict ecological and humanitarian conditions, which are moreover approved by GoodWeave, one of the leading organisations for a fair carpet industry.

Each individual ball is handmade in several stages. The finished balls are then sewn into a rug, which can consist of more than 50,000 felt balls, using a knotting technique specially developed by myfelt.
