myfelt felt ball rugs are made from pure New Zealand sheep's wool, regarded as one of the most precious of all for its durability and exceptional quality.

Right at the start of the manufacturing process, the wool is combed at a workshop in Nepal. It is then washed several times over and dyed under very strict ecological and humanitarian conditions, which are moreover approved by GoodWeave, one of the leading associations for a fair carpet industry.

Each individual ball is handmade in several stages. The finished balls are then sewn into a rug, which can be made up of more than 50,000 felt balls, using a knotting process specially developed by myfelt.
