Grey felt ball rug 140 cm Luis - myfelt

Felt ball rugs make their entrance at The Cool Republic: meet German brand myfelt, whose relaxed, fresh approach to design was bound to win us over.

Made in a fair trade spirit, the Luis collection is composed of large felt balls, each one individually handmade.

A genuine eye-catcher, its felt balls in a noble grey instantly draw the gaze of your guests.
As well as being a truly original piece, Luis has a minimalist look that suits any interior.

It will easily find its place at the heart of a living room or a bedroom, and its bright, cheerful colours will heighten the effect.

myfelt felt ball rugs are made from pure New Zealand sheep's wool, regarded as one of the most precious of all for its durability and exceptional quality.

Right at the start of the manufacturing process, the wool is combed in a factory in Nepal. It is then washed several times and dyed under very strict ecological and humanitarian conditions, which are moreover approved by GoodWeave, one of the leading organisations campaigning for a fair carpet industry.

Each individual ball is handmade in several stages. The finished balls are then sewn into a rug, which may be composed of more than 50,000 felt balls, using a knotting process specially developed by myfelt.

A beautiful decorative object made to the highest fair trade standards: now there's an idea that takes you travelling!
