Made in the spirit of fair trade, the Mono collection is crafted from large felt balls, each one shaped individually by hand.

myfelt felt ball rugs are made from pure New Zealand sheep's wool, regarded as one of the most precious of all for its durability and exceptional quality.

Right at the start of the manufacturing process, the wool is carded in a workshop in Nepal. It is then washed several times and dyed under very strict ecological and humanitarian conditions, which are approved by GoodWeave, one of the leading organisations for a fair carpet industry.

Each individual ball is brought to its final shape by hand over several stages. The finished balls are then sewn into a rug, which can be made up of as many as 50,000 felt balls, using a knotting process developed specially by myfelt.
