Designed by Normann Copenhagen 's Danish chief designer, Simon Legald, the Tube Lounge armchair is inspired by the style of design Memphis, born in Italy in the 1980s. A style distinguished by bold shapes and geometric lines, celebrating exuberance and playfulness. Combining these playful references with the minimalism of its Danish heritage, Tube presents an inherently bold design with contrasting shapes and materials, yet expertly executed in a simple manner and intemporelle.

At the heart of design is the captivating interplay between soft and solid elements. Two oversized sandblasted steel tubes form the chair's distinctive frame, elegantly curving to follow the organic curvature of the generously upholstered seat. The elongated backrest offers the opportunity to sit and rest one's head, while relying on the visual experience of a comfortably upholstered seat designed for complete relaxation. This architectural frame emphasizes comfort without compromising aesthetics.
