Initially imagined for the new French high-speed trains, the TGV lamp was designed by Ionna Vautrin à la at the request of SNCF (French national railway company).
A key element in the traveler's journey, this luminaire combine combines sleek curves and geometric rationality. The TGV lamp's comfortable luminosity and simple design make it a conniving object around which passengers are invited to settle.
From the platform, where elle welcomes passengers behind glass and pendant throughout the journey, the TGV lamp is a caractère domestic element, a promise of comfort "just like à la home".
With the characteristics of a domestic lamp naturally in its genes, SNCF and Moustache have pooled their skills to create a TGV lamp for installation in our homes.
Manufactured in die-cast aluminum using industrial tooling developed for the fitting of the new TGVs, the domestic version of the lamp is identical to those around which you sit pendant during your journey.
Only a ballast has been added to the body of the lamp to ensure its perfect stability, and a screw system has been developed under the base to secure it firmly in special contexts such as restaurants, hotels and public spaces.
