Chair with armrests in rush green steel A56 - Tolix

Designed in 1956 by Jean Pauchard, the A56 Armchair became one of the great classics of twentieth-century furniture. It was created to meet the demands of terraces and cafés. The A56 Armchair is stackable. In the 1950s, 25 stacked pieces stood no more than 2.3 metres high. It is available in a steel version, either in its classic form or raised by 5cm (A56+) for versatile use. It shares the same fundamentals as its predecessor, the A Chair. Every stage of its manufacture calls just as much upon the know-how of the TOLIX workshops: stamping, bending, brazing and polishing. These unique gestures, which earned TOLIX its recognition as an Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company), give the products an unrivalled quality and that little something extra. Just as with the A Chair, TOLIX has decided to offer it in only 3 finishes that only the TOLIX teams know how to achieve with such a degree of perfection. A gloss finish in pure white, perfectly revealing the curving work and bringing a pared-back vision of contemporary furniture. A polished raw steel finish highlighting the unique hand of our craftspeople, enhanced by a varnish. And finally the historic galvanised finish, which only TOLIX still offers as a tribute to Monsieur Pauchard, and which will allow your product to withstand all climates and stand the test of time by your side.
