A56 chair with pure white steel armrests - Tolix

Created in 1956 by Jean Pauchard, Fauteuil A56 was one of the great classics of 20th century furniture. It was designed to meet the demands of terraces and cafés. The Fauteuil A56 is stackable. In the 50s, 25 stacked examples were no more than 2 or 3 meters high. It is available in a steel version, either in its original form classique or raised by 5cm (A56+) for versatile use. It is based on the same fundamentals as its predecessor Chaise A. Every stage of its manufacture is equally based on the expertise of the TOLIX workshops: stamping, bending, brazing and polishing.
