These wine glasses are designed to be felt as much as seen. Deliberately heavy in the hand, their singular shape transforms a simple glass into a refined object that catches the eye, is held in the hand, and becomes something you return to. Precious elements, like gemstones, subtly reappear in the stem and inside the bowl, creating a visual rhythm that harmonizes the whole. Confident, original and tactile, this collection brings a strong presence to the table without losing any of its simplicity.
Collaborating with glass artist Nienke Sikkema was less a collaboration than an immersion into another world. Her world is made of fluid temporalities, controlled chaos and forms that seem sculpted from light. Together, we created a collection of glass objects that evoke contemporary gemstones: dense, luminous and slightly untamed.
