With a team of over 80 designers from around the world, Artemide is a pioneer in the manufacture of lighting fixtures. Ernesto Gismondi, an Italian designer, created the Tizio lamp, whilst the adjustable lamp and floor lamp were designed by the German industrial designer Richard Sapper. Available in various sizes and colours, the Tizio lamp was the first lamp to feature a halogen light source and has, over the years, become a symbol of Italian design worldwide.
