HAY Textile Sofas

The HAY Sofas in fabric bring together 36 designs conceived to combine contemporary Scandinavian aesthetics with everyday comfort. The Danish brand, founded in 2002 by Rolf and Mette Hay, has built its reputation on precisely drawn pieces, affordable without compromising on the quality of materials. Fabric plays a central role here: it softens the lines, enriches the blocks of colour and gives each silhouette a warm presence in the living space. These sofas sit squarely within the identity of a coherent HAY world, where every object converses with the others without ever imposing itself.

HAY has collaborated from the outset with designers from both the Nordic and international scenes, which translates into a wide diversity of formal proposals within this Sofas category. The Mags sofa, designed by the Hay Design studio, is undoubtedly the collection's most emblematic piece: its modular system allows two-seater, three-seater or corner configurations to be composed according to the size of the living room. The Can 2.0 sofa, meanwhile, illustrates a more compact approach, with generous proportions on a contained footprint. The fabric upholstery available spans a broad spectrum of tones, from warm neutrals to deeper shades, suiting a pared-back interior just as well as a bolder mood. Frames vary between wood and metal, offering distinct effects depending on the atmosphere sought.

These sofas are as well suited to generous spaces as to smaller areas, thanks to the modularity that characterises the range. In a living room, they naturally find their place alongside HAY Rugs to delineate the living area, or complemented by HAY Lamps that extend the visual coherence of the whole. For those who appreciate furniture conceived entirely in a single spirit, the collection offers enough variety to compose a personal interior without resorting to mismatched pieces. A fitting choice for anyone in search of a fabric sofa with a rigorous formal vocabulary.
