Tips : To protect your mattress and keep it in good condition, we recommend using a sheet. To ensure the futon retains its shape, is well ventilated and remains flat, you should turn it over and rotate it regularly. We recommend turning the futon through 180 degrees, swapping the head and foot ends, approximately every 3 to 4 weeks. If necessary, the surface can be vacuumed to remove dust. For stains, use a slightly damp, colourless cloth with a small amount of clear washing-up liquid. Gently dab the affected area and remove any excess moisture with a dry cloth or kitchen roll.

Our latex double futon is an 18 cm thick cotton mattress with a latex foam core. By adding 5 to 10% polyester to our cotton, we guarantee a higher density and thickness than traditional Japanese futons. However, it retains all the qualities of a traditional Japanese futon. The latex double futon will provide you with a soft sleeping surface. The cotton of the futon will adapt to your body and support it, while the latex will isolate all movements. Please note that all our futons are handmade; therefore, you may notice slight variations in size and weight.
