When it was presented in 1967 at the Milan Furniture Fair, the chair achieved such success with the public that many visitors left the stand and took away the displayed pieces with them. Following this unorthodox compliment, the chairs were fastened in the booth with a chain. Thanks to Plia and his study on the "three-disc pivot", revolutionizing the concept of the folding chair, Giancarlo Piretti entered history with the nickname "Thonet of the 20th century". Available in different colors, from the steel frame to the seat and backrest, it even offers a version in Vienna straw stretched over a solid wood frame, capable of further enriching an icon of entirely Italian style.
