When it was presented in 1967 at the Milan Furniture Fair, the chair was so successful with the public that many visitors left the stand and took the displayed ones with them. Following this unorthodox compliment, the chairs were secured in the booth with a chain. Thanks to Plia and his study on the "three-disc pivot", thus revolutionizing the concept of the folding chair, Giancarlo Piretti enters history with the nickname "Thonet of the 20th century". Available in different colors, from the steel frame to the seat and backrest, it even offers a version in Vienna straw stretched over a solid wood frame, capable of further enriching an icon of entirely Italian style.
