Pure & Paint

The Cool Republic invites you to discover, exclusively on our website, the Pure & Paint brand, which combines quality, aesthetic appeal and unique colours to decorate your walls in style whilst respecting the environment.

A trained interior designer based in Lyon, Corinne Manoa Graveleau decided to launch the plant-based paint brand Pure & Paint in 2015, drawing inspiration from nature and with the aim of offering eco-friendly and healthy decorating solutions to help reconnect people with nature through beauty.

Since its inception, Pure & Paint has continued to captivate with its contemporary, elegant and timeless colours, drawn directly from the natural world, which offer endless possibilities for decoration and interior design.

All the brand’s products are manufactured in France using 97 per cent ingredients of natural origin. Pure & Paint paints are made from a bio-based resin formulated from vegetable oil and agricultural resources, a cellulose-based thickener and mineral pigments.

Environmentally friendly and of superior quality, the paints in the Pure & Paint range are every bit as good as traditional paints, as they provide excellent coverage and are washable and can be cleaned as often as you like.

The velvety texture of this ready-to-use paint makes it easy to apply, whether by roller, paintbrush, brush or spray gun, including on walls and ceilings in rooms prone to damp, such as the kitchen or bathroom.

The icing on the cake: the products in the Pure & Paint natural paint range are available at an affordable price to better address the budgetary concerns that often go hand in hand with renovation work, which can sometimes be costly.

When Pure & Paint was founded, the brand’s founder enlisted the help of a colourist specialising in interior design trends to develop an exceptional colour chart featuring no fewer than 60 shades to suit a wide range of décor preferences.

From all these standout shades, the Cool Team has selected the must-haves you can buy with complete confidence to create a stunning look in every room of your home. From the hall to the living room, via the kitchen, bedroom or study, these paints will give you the chance to create an atmosphere that reflects your personality.

Not to mention the Pure & Paint primer, which you’ll also find in this selection from The Cool Republic, so that you can ensure a consistent finish by applying this primer to your walls before painting them in the colour of your choice. This product is available in two sizes: 0.5L and 2.5L.

In keeping with the brand’s image, the packaging for each pot of plant-based paint is beautifully designed and is, in its own right, a decorative item that you can proudly display or repurpose after use to continue your eco-friendly approach.
