Innovation Living

Innovation Living was born in Denmark in 1971, in the buzz of the 1970s: its founder, Flemming Højfeldt, began by producing beanbags. At the end of the 1980s the company chose to design its own furniture and focused on what would become its signature: convertible furniture.

Chief designer since 1989, Per Weiss, who trained in industrial design at the Aarhus School of Architecture, has shaped the collections around one simple idea: a sofa that unfolds into a bed without giving up the understated lines of Scandinavian design.

The collection is built mainly around sofa beds, with or without armrests, on wooden or metal legs, alongside convertible armchairs in recycled polyester and a few folded-metal side tables. Pieces designed for studios, guest rooms and compact living spaces.
