Alessi

The story of Alessi is, above all, that of a family and a tradition of craftsmanship passed down with the utmost rigour. From the very beginning, Giovanni Alessi placed the quality of craftsmanship at the heart of every creation, working with precision on materials such as copper, brass and nickel silver, before exploring stainless steel, which would go on to become the brand’s signature material.

From the 1970s onwards, Alessi embarked on a decisive new direction by opening its doors to renowned designers such as Ettore Sottsass, Achille Castiglioni, Richard Sapper and Jasper Morrison. This convergence of industry and creativity gave rise to objects that have since become cult classics, in which functionality is intertwined with a strong emotional appeal.

True to its identity, the brand has developed a unique approach to design, where every object tells a story. Whether it’s a coffee pot, a kettle or a table accessory, Alessi transforms simple everyday actions into genuine aesthetic experiences. Iconic pieces such as the Anna G corkscrew, recognisable by its iconic smile, perfectly illustrate this desire to infuse design with humour and humanity.

Always striving for innovation, Alessi explores new materials and forms through its research centre, whilst remaining deeply committed to its Italian roots. Straddling the line between traditional craftsmanship and industrial production, the brand continues to create durable objects, designed to enhance everyday life with elegance and character.

Choosing Alessi means bringing affordable, iconic design into your home – design that can enhance every moment with subtlety and creativity.
