Choosing a pendant for the dining room

Allow about 70 to 80 cm between the tabletop and the bottom of the pendant, to light without blocking the view. The diameter is chosen in proportion to the table: around half its width for a single piece, or several pendants in a row above a large table. Favour a warm, dimmable light.

Lighting the living room

Layer the sources: a ceiling light or chandelier for general lighting, complemented by floor and table lamps for reading corners and softer moods. A dimmer lets you shift from functional light to a gentler evening atmosphere.
