The IOI coffee tables by GamFratesi, a design duo, are a celebration of Italian materiality, with solid brass and marbre Emperador grey and Carrara white. The use of marbre anticipates a growing desire for the honesty and authenticity of organic materials. The careful selection of colours and textures allows the materiality of marbre to be retained in the final design. The stones are chosen for their veins and striations, giving each table an expression unique.

The table's twin legs are connected by a small solid brass sphere, which serves à la both as a functional spacer to reinforce the two legs in the form of tube, and as an intimately thought-out detail or pause that emphasizes à la both its own materiality and the particular attention paid to the spaces between the elements of each piece.
