Since 2010, Miguel Angel Garcia Belmonte has been paying homage to the artisan tradition of his native town Totana with a design work mixing the work of the earth with the demand for contemporary forms. Modernizing production tools, he has made this heritage a reference in the art of ceramics in Spain.
Mediterranean in the soul, it is by taking inspiration from what this sea has of mineral, vegetable, living, that Miguel Angel Garcia Belmonte has designed this suspension Sponge Up! Its cells are in fact similar to those of the sponge, creating an incredible light. Its rounded ceramic has been worked by hand to sensitively reproduce all the richness of these small perforations.
