The company was Bloomingville founded in 2000 by Betina Stamp, a second-hand goods dealer in love with France. A vintage enthusiast, she draws inspiration from the past by reinventing the furniture of our grandmothers, and brings the modernity of today's design to create modern, chic, simple and ethical pieces. Betina has combined her penchant for the French art of living with the elegant naturalism of Scandinavian decoration, with its clean lines and functional side, absolutely timeless. Betina and her team of designers still design the vast majority of their collections in-house. Pendant Simon 2016, her husband, controls and supervises the small manufacturers selected in a logic of fair trade in Asia and Africa.
